When we come to register a new domain name, then it’s no problem, we just log in to any registrant on the web, input the domain name, if it’s available we register, and everybody are happy. But what if you want something that is already taken? That’s a big problem as after so many years of internet and marketing, it’s save to say that the vast majority of domains is already taken, and we either need to compromise and add digits, words, dashes and hyphens…

The good thing is, the market of “second hand” domains for sale is huge. Some people are just looking to make money of a high traffic or / and a high PR domain, while others just want to get rid of an old unneeded name, sometimes even for a very low price, i.e. registration fee or less. BuyDomains is one good example of sites where you can choose from a very wide variety of domain names and purchase the desirable name for your business, blog or even personal site. Prices are for any pocket and range from the most affordable to top level price, classy TLD’s. From all the domains I currently own, I got hold of some of them through “second hand” domain sales, and the big advantage in these cases is that most of the times you get a name with traffic, PageRank and some ranking in SE, which saves a lot of work in the beginning, and we all know that the hardest thing is to get things started…
