Normally, I’d say - yes, definitely. In today’s life you can’t make much waiting tables, cleaning shelves in a supermarket or sitting in someone’s office, answering calls and afraid to arrive 5 minutes late to your work in the morning. Average job brings average income, which leads to an average standard of life. However, unfortunately, not everyone is able to reach this “average” job as it mainly requires a college or university degree, which as we know not easy to get, not due to lack of brain but rather due to lack of founds. Personally, I wanted to study in university and get a degree in psychology (as I only have my college degree in Social Science) but these plans were stopped by a five figures sum which stood between me and uni’s gates. Before you shed a tear - don’t worry, I do not regret it anymore
So, if you want to make big money and reach to a high standard of life, you need either to start your own business (which is, once again - a huge initial investment, in most of the cases) or be truly, and I mean it - *t r u l y* brilliant, and set up a corporation with minimum material investment and maximum brain work, recreate the success of Bill Gates, Michael Dell, or someone else, but try not to invent something that has already been invented, and I am sorry to discourage you, but most of the things a human mind can think of, has already been brought to light in this way or another. It really won’t be easy to get your photo published in Forbes without massive business creativity and some mind-blowing market model.
Yes, it’s pretty disappointing, you need to be extra smart with unbeatable ambitions, strong nerves, starting capital and preferably located in the USA where the market dominates the world. However, this all applies to real life, not Internet. Over here, in the cyber world, the rules are different. So many housekeepers are making huge money out of the invisible cyber channels, without any degree or extraordinary abilities. Of course, in order to start your online business and milk impressive revenue, you do need brain, but a lot less than in real life, and - no one cares how old are you, what’s your education level and where you are from. Nothing is relevant except for what you can actually produce and put online.
Naturally, it’s not really all that simple as I portray here, in order to place contextual ads you need to make a good website first with interesting content, and you need to promote your site otherwise no one will enter and click the ads, and you need to get indexed and highly ranked in major Search Engines (Google, MSN, Yahoo, etc) otherwise no one will find your site and give you the pleasure of clicking your ads and putting a few dollars in your pocket… and, the more you think of it - the bigger this circle grows. No, it’s not simple, it’s a lot of work, a lot of skills and knowledge in different spheres, BUT, I had seen so many teens making tons of money, so many people after their retirement starting to write about something online just to kill time and ending up getting famous for their online income and many other cases and inspiring stories, which would make you realize that it’s a crime not to try yourself with the internet revenue streams. You can sit at your desk every evening, try yourself with sales, with affiliate marketing, with contextual ads, with text link ads or basically - with whatever. Surely there is at least something you would be good at, and if you think you have tried it all by now and still struggle to make a decent amount of money online, it does not mean you have no brain, it means you just do not do it the right way. You just need to take a bit of your time and dedicate it to learning the online revenue strategies and techniques. No ballet dancer was born knowing how to dance on tip of her toes, she learnt it, and believe me: everything is “learnable”.
Don’t rush into buying all these e-books of “successful” people who share their 6 figures success in a cheap 29$ e-book you can oh so easily purchase, their advice won’t give you more than most of the bloggers or marketing related blogs who will gladly demonstrate you some online marketing techniques. They do not do it because they are generous, they know their content will drive traffic, which will lead to sales and commissions from adverts, but why can’t you use the same tactic as well. See this article? Yes,
this very article you are reading now. You read it and it’s free, always will be free, and you are here because of the content (by the way, thanks for reading and dropping by!). Believe me, you can get all the help you need from big forums and trustworthy websites. When I say “trustworthy”, I mean take a look at the blog you are reading first and it’s author. If you came across a PageRank 0 website, who’s owner showers you with tips for making PR8, I’d personally be a bit caution and prefer to listen to those who actually made something online and provide a live evidence of that. Don’t listen to “designer’s” advice, who’s own website look crap; do not listen a “reviewer” of a paid hosting service who host his own site on a free host’s sub domain. It’s a big mistake beginners often make so try to avoid them.
Bottom line is, and these are the cheerful news: you don’t need a brilliant brain in order to make a lot of money. I’d rather say you need patience and… a computer with internet connection.
