Get many quality PR5 backlinks for FREE

No, there is no catch or competition, and this is not even a sponsored post, but for those of you who are looking to get some “quality backlinks” (from high PageRank sites, without having to provide a reciprocal), I have good news: You just stumbled across a golden mine! I am going to show you a tricky way to get a bunch of backlinks from PR5 sites. However, before you start clicking the urls below, please take a minute to read the intro and understand how is this going to work.

Below you will find a list of blogs, which I carefully selected. All of them are PR5, and have “nofollow” ref deactivated, which means leaving a comment in their blog gives you genuine links love. I am planning to make occasional posts of this nature, every time with a batch of links to blogs that “follow”, and have a certain PR (including PR6, if I will find more than a few), so if you want to stay up-to-date with the newly released “free backlinks lists”, please consider subscribing to my feed or digging this post. Actually, consider it anyway, if you want to make the author *cough* happy.

Back to topic. I will only post a maximum of 20 links at a time, but not because I want you to come back frequently, but rather because posting too many links at once on one page, considering that this blog already has a lot of external links, may have a bad effect for me with SE’s, so I’d prefer to keep the bunches short. Remember, good things come in small packages!

Also, please don’t spam these blogs. Some of them will not be related to the topics you like, so don’t leave a useless comment just for the sake of a link, as some of these blogs belong to friends of mine and I don’t want to get slammed for advocating to spam their websites. So just for the record, you got my official warning.

Having said that, how to spam the right away? You don’t need to leave your link in the body of the comment itself, in fact don’t do it at all, because it will either be filtered as spam or disaproved by the site owner for same reason. Inputing your link in the “website” field is enough, and then enter the desired anchor text in the “name” field. That’s all, the blogging software will do the rest of the work for you, and the link will be genuine, perfectly beneficial for both PageRank and Technorati Rank. And now, let’s get the party started…

PageRank 5 Blogs that share the links love:

  1. RamblingThoughtsBlog
  2. Andy Beard
  3. Bigger Pockets
  4. Blogging WV
  5. Brown Sista
  6. Curious Cat
  7. E Moms at Home
  8. Last Blogger
  9. Life Cruiser
  10. Dandelion Patch
  11. Paula Mooney
  12. Randa Clay Design
  13. Simple Kind of Life
  14. Solo Technology
  15. Teenage Angst
  16. Tricia’s Musings
  17. Ramblings of an Undisturbed mind
  18. Aaron Roselo

Only 18 for now, not easy to find many blogs who managed to hit a decent rank and share links freely. Anyway, after you have read this post, you can practically get eighteen PR5 links, absolutely free. Dare to say my blog is not “priceless”!

Excellent article and even moe excellent list of links ;)
Thank you!

June 5, 2007

Interesting strategy :-)

Lets see how many people you refer to my Rambling Thoughts Blog

I welcome all real comments, but note they are moderated so anything extremely spammy or promoting things like gambling or prescription drugs will be deleted.

June 5, 2007

Great post, and I recognize a couple of pretty cool bloggers on that list.

June 5, 2007

Although I love the “DoFollow” movement, I have definitely found that once the list has spread around the internet, I have had plenty of people trying to game or abuse the generosity of these bloggers (myself included).

So I would add to this post that unless you’re really willing to engage in a conversation with these people, don’t expect to spam them all for free PR5 links, which will get you sent to Akismet faster than you can type “tramadol”. :)

June 5, 2007

Great list of blogs! Very good reading :)

June 5, 2007

Thanks for sharing links in your post . Nice post and waiting for more nice links in future .

Good list. Hopefully the sites do not get spammed, which is the whole reason this nofollow started.

For you blogger users, here is a tutorial on how to remove nofollow

http://webstractions.blogspot.com/2007/05/removing-nofollow-from-blogger-styled.html

And here is a blogger site that has removed nofollow

http://diyaudioprojects.blogspot.com

June 5, 2007

While I support the No Follow movement, I have also noticed an increase in “spammy” comments. I don’t comment on a blog unless I have something relevant to say about the topic- I would hope for the same respect on my blog. And yes- if you type a URL in the body of the comment- it will be deleted. This is to benefit all of us in the blogging world and I would hate to have to go back to moderating ALL comments.

June 5, 2007

I would like to add my voice to the above comments

A link from a blog using Dofollow is never free, it is their way of rewarding you for adding value to the conversation.

I could easily list lots of PR7 blogs that have followable links from their comments, but that wouldn’t for me be a useful article to publish, because people would be going there for links, and not because they have a blog on a related topic.

I delete comments daily which I deem spammy – often the writers get blacklisted

June 5, 2007

I agree with Andy Beard. Backlinks from my blog (Blogging WV) are not “free”, but I don’t charge for them either.

I delete several comments everyday that have nothing to do with the blog post they are commenting on. Just someone trying to get a backlink because I have followable comment links.

As Andy said, if I delete your comments more than two times, there is a good chance that you will be put on the blacklist.

Otherwise, feel free to visit my blog and join into the conversation!

June 5, 2007

I agree with Andy. You do have to be careful about what you’re doing so as not to irritate the authors of these blogs. Getting flagged as spam can cause troubles :)

But if you have something to contribute to the discussion, by all means, come on over and comment. I’m sure everyone on this list absolutely loves to hear from readers who have something to contribute which lies at the core of the dofollow movement.

Excellent idea, and thanks for all the linky love!

Glen

its a great list and i am looking forward to many more to come!!!

@andy, why dont you share the pr7 links, i dont think people will abuse it and anyway there should be more ways to find out

@admin, keep up the great work!!!

June 6, 2007

@Glen – I’m afraid you’re an optimist.

People just about break their arms trying to abuse it — and that’s just on my little PR5 blog. I can only imagine what Andy must deal with.

June 7, 2007

Wow PR5 that’s a very respectable ranking for a blog. Thanks for the list.

barat

I don’t get it… why ppl are so excited ?

Yes – main site of blog is PR5 … but comment sites are in most of cases are PR0 … it’s like SEO Directories …
But maybe I’m wrong ?

July 13, 2007

What a great idea! It would be nice to find out, how many PR5-blogs we have here in germany.

July 18, 2007

Very interesting… I was just passing through so i thought i would say hi :)
hi :)
A webmasters reading is never done :P
I added you to favorites so no doubt i will be back so keep it up

July 18, 2007

I agree with barat above. I don’t see the point of a PR 5 homepage while the post itself and it’s comments are on a PR 0 page.

Am I missing something?

August 18, 2007

The issue of home page PR versus the PR of the page has merit. But remember the PR we see is (right now 4+ months out of date) – those pages that are not showing a page rank in April, May, June, July and August really have a pagerank (it just isn’t displayed – because they didn’t exist when the PR displayed to us, toolbar…, was calculated).

For blogs this may often mean the comments would be on a page with decent page rank. You can look at what regular post pages on the blog had in March of this year to see if the pages really have page rank when they are visible (look at late March and you will often see higher page rank than early March (because those late March pages were on the home page and getting that benefit when the pagerank we see now was calculated. Of course that doesn’t mean they do today but it is a likely scenario.

That would tell you (very roughly) what current individual post pages PRs are. You can also look at several older posts and see if the PR persists over time for that site. For example see our posts last year:
18 Aug 2006 and 19 Aug 2006 for the Curious Cat Science and Engineering Blog (listed in the original post).

As I see it 2 have PR=2 and 1 has PR=3 and 1 has a PR=4. And two have no page rank.

By the way we list comments that are sensible and not spamish. We reject plenty of comments that all they want is some link to their site to sell cell phones or whatever.

For the huge number of SEO directories the page rank of internal pages do show how little pagerank they have to pass. I have had a directory since 1997 and just added a blog portion this month. But our directory, Curious Cat Cool Connections, is actually meant to be used to find great sites. We only list a few sites and the only requirement is a great site/blog in a topic we review (no cost, linkback requirements…).

November 21, 2007

I would not have shared those links with anyone, you are a generous man. Godspeed.

March 16, 2008

Nice list of blogs you posted. I would like to get my comments posted on these blogs. Thanks again.

March 18, 2008

I have one question. It looks like a great idea, but THIS page has PR0, even though your main page has a higer PR.

If I comment on a blog with an index page of PR9, but the individual page is only PR0, then do I get benefit.

I know Google says it works – but no one has proven it.

March 18, 2008

Great Article. Thanks for blog link with high PR. You have done a great job for SEO executive like me. Keep doing good work and we all appreciate you for this effort.

August 11, 2008

Hi, thanks for spreading the word. I think that webmasters should encourage quality comments by removing nofollow.
I too have a do-follow blog at http://www.3appraisal.com/domain-blog and since I removed nofollow, I have seen an increasing number of quality comments!

hey….great list…
really valuable…

May 29, 2009

nice article..i have to buy links :(

June 3, 2009

I feel that PR is so manipulative by Google that PR has no real meaning behind it. I had a PR 5 and Google stripped it away because they would rather companies use their advertising rather than website owners advertising for them, and ever since then my traffic has grown.

June 9, 2009

will try checking this list out…i hope they are still pr 5 even after 2 years :) .

June 13, 2009

This is a great list, I wonder how up to date it is? I clicked a few, great blogs. Whenever I build a blog I always use the dofollow plugin. Its best to pair it up with akismet to eliminate spam. My blog is only pr2 but its getting there! http://timbrydges.com

June 21, 2009

Thanks for this. I’m not going to comment on all of them but I have commented on about two of them. My blog is DoFollow and is PR3 and I get alot of spam. I wonder how these blog owners feel :O
