Many times, all you have to do is contribute something constructive to say to earn your right to a link. Plus there are sites like <a href="http://www.adwido.com" rel="nofollow">Adwido</a>, that welcome explicit advertising. If you are a spammer in this day and age you should be ashamed of yourself. There is absolutely no need to SPAM these days with so many free advertising opportunities out there for marketers. I have multiple blogs, and found people would follow the "do follow" list like clockwork, hitting one blog after the other. It's a dead give away to get 6 comments from the exact same person within 10 minutes, one on each "do follow" blog. I turned it off on multiple blogs last week.
