There are a few types of people who guide others to their most desired aim - making money online. Some experts write eBooks and sell them, like the famous Joel Comm, who in my opinion gives no more advices than any webmaster in any popular forum would give you. Other experts, teach you free. They just have a blog where they share their thoughts about the world, how much they make online and kindly, very kindly teach you how they did it, so you can earn as much as they do.
If you buy this trick, you are obviously a beginner.
No webmaster who makes 4 figures income online would actually waste hours of his or her daytime to teach you anything. Okay, sure, maybe some kind spirits out there would actually do it gladly, but taking the internet as one big and evil money-making-machine, this is unlikely to happen. So what does happen behind the scenes?
Let’s take for instance John Chow, the famous marketing mogul who has made $23,448 in October (I believe his personal record). This evil blogger posts plenty of tutorials about making money online, “how, where and when to get started”. Translating it to urban language, “how and where” — via his affiliate links. When? — Now!
If you are new to making money online, you would definitely follow his every word, and I am no exception, I did it too, and am grateful to Mr. Chow for taking the time to make all these top posts that are still gathering thousands of readers daily. But again, underneath it all, his blog’s purpose is to promote his own affiliate links, earn money by taking sponsored reviews and of course on top of it all — branding himself — as without strong credibility and authority, no one would sign up under his affiliates, right? Even posting an “income report” about $23,448 monthly income is a self-promotional, commercial trick. (Oh yes, I know it sounds like I am jealous, and I AM, but let’s not stir from the topic!)
However, I must admit that this is the best trick I learnt from Mr. Chow — review your own affiliate products. Instead of freeing up to 728 x 90 pixels on your website for a banner that will blink 24/7, screaming “sign up with us!!!”, (and since you most likely have a few affiliate networks where you get a commission per referral, means more space for more banners is needed…) — just write a post where you describe your product / network, outline the benefits, make sure you are placing multiple links to the site using your affiliate ID and if you are really sneaky you will also hide it, to maximize the sales. Bottom line is that you create content that feeds you. You make money online FROM teaching others to make money online as the teaching process itself brings in its fair share.
So, when you start learning how to milk the Internet, bear in mind that you will reward your teacher, probably without even knowing it.

Might be useful… take a look…
I too was attracted by the claims on John Chow’s blog. So I decided to give it a try. I was skeptical of how easy it sounded so I decided I would cronicle what would happen when a complete novice like me tried to impliment what John Chow recommends.
You can see my progress (or lack of progress) at http://www.notjohnchow.com.
Catchy name, huh?
John, what Mr Chow recommends indeed sounds easy, but let’s not forget whatta crazy traffic he has and how much he spends on promotion, in Adsense and other sources. Btw, I am so flattered that you chose my theme for your blog, hope it will bring you success
