No More Accidental Adsense Clicks, says Google
Looks like Google decided to improve their Adsense code a bit. Up until now, the whole ads square was clickable, no matter where you click, if your mouse slips on Adsense, you get to view certain ads. Many publishers clicked by mistake on their own ads, and many advertisers complained about “visitors accidental clicks” that do not result in actual traffic as once the visitor realized he was taken to another website, he would press the “back” button.
Not anymore.
New format enables you to click either on th URL itself, or on the title, in other words — less clickable area, less chances for accidental clicks, more guarantees visitor clicked because he wanted to.
