It’s been a few days that I did not release any WordPress theme and I thought it’s about time that I will release something new. Hi - the footer for this theme is throwing an error: when I open the footer file, i get this:

Do you get this code when you view the theme live or only in the footer file? This is not an error (unless it shows up on the live blog, of course) this is just the footer links being encrypted to prevent users from removing them and illegally redistributing the theme under their own names. If you want to apply any changes to the footer let me know and I will help you.

Actually the footer.php file in the archive is somehow damaged. The encryption string seems to be cut off. The file is 816bytes where other footer.php files from other themes are 30k. You can swap the footer.php file with one from another theme to get this to work (you’ll just have the wrong sponsors)
I’m trying to use widgets with this theme - but when I do it throws widget items up into the theme itself, not into the sidebar. Any ideas why the widgets are making such a mess of the theme?
