Face-to-Face, At Distance!

Internet and technology really brings people closer. First we could email, then we could instant-chat, then we could talk with Web cams and Microphones in a small window, and now the idea of Video Conferencing is taken to the highest stage.

With some modern and special equipment, you can talk to someone in real time and see the opponent in real size and perfect quality. Basically, you can talk as if you are really near the person, only through a screen, because the quality of the picture or voice won’t ever make you feel like the conversation is actually taking place with someone who is located on the other side of the globe.

So, as you could understand by now, it’s a really breath-taking and interesting feature that can allow business conferences to take place without having to gather all the partners from allover the world in one office. But, let’s see how much it costs us… The pricing is set per number of people communicating an per minute of “chat”, so obviously the more people and the longer you talk — the more it would cost you, however, from the prices I had seen it seems to me most mobile providers will charge more per minute of video call, and of course we can’t compare the size of the picture and the quality of the sound!
