How often do you start editing your wordpress theme online (or a static page) and end up with a lot of error and don’t know how to undo? And, you already overwrote the file and can’t restore the previous version. It can really cost you in a lot of extra work and I know from personal experience that extra work means also loss of money. Yesterday I read on someone’s blog about CSSfly - ultimate web 2.0 tool for editing online. let’s say I wanna try and edit one of my wordpress themes via CSSfly, what I do it input the url on their website and it cashes the pages and CSS unto their server where in a top frame I can make adjustments to the css file and see the result right away. This is totally, awesome. If you like the result, just copy and paste the CSS file unto your server and overwrite.
The disadvantage is, when I tried to edit toptut.com — it got reloaded because of the FeedBurner FeedFlare script so if you have any scripts installed it might cause troubles, the less java — the better. Let’s hope this tool will stick around because with such server loads, if it gets popular, they won’t handle the traffic without a dedicated server and unfortunately not everyone is ready for such an upgrade.
