So, it’s safe to say that the “big G” as we all called it, is now a “small” g. Google has officially changed their favicon, from capital G letter to a small ‘g’, which will look more similar to the infinity sign — ?. Are they trying to attract immortality karma, now that their stocks collapsed? I wonder if it will help, apart from thausands of bored webmasters writing about their 16 pixels new icon.
Honestly? I don’t like the new icon. Do you?

actually googlesystem.blogspot.com is not Google official blog. i have even posted about this changing some days ago. you can check about it here.
small g, ah you got the word
Hi
I have just found your weblog yesterday; it is so amazing and useful. First of all I should thank you for making this blog.
I am working with wordpress also, and I have seen you beautiful themes also. They are one of the best that I have seen. I wana use them for my language Farsi, and as you know this need a RTL (right to left) blog,
First: Can I translate your themes to Farsi, you logo and links will be preserved,
Second: how can I make the blog RTL?
Your themes have two css files, what is the second for?
I just looked on the regular google site and it’s still the old g. My igoogle is small.
I agree with you… I don’t like it. It looks lopsided like it’s about to fall over, or is out for a night out… drunken g! I think it’s the bulbous bit on the left side of the bottom that kills it for me.

Day by day, one day you will like it.
I think it looks a bit wussy-ish. But then I never like anything when it’s new. Change annoys me usually.
If I look real close it’s a small g, otherwise it looks like an hour-glass. No, I don’t like it.
I haven’t heard of a stock collapse?
I noticed the new favicon last week and, honestly, I don’t like it. The big G was easily recognizable as a aprt of the logo, the small g isn’t.
When I first noticed it I thought to myself “What is that? It’s disgusting!”
I don’t know how people are supposed to associate the little colorful “g” with Google, I have not seen their name ever begin with a small “g” and have no reason to think of Google as being lowercase. To me it almost seems like an attempt at making Google part of Web 2.0, which is an idiot thing. Both the attempt and Web 2.0
