I made this download for my forum - Lorelei Web, but decided to share this file on the blog as well, only unlike in the forum, no registration is required for downloading. It’s a simple yet stylish looking file that will be suitable for web graphics, interface designs (portfolios, gaming sites etc) or anything else of your choice. My previously released WordPress theme, Lorelei Bliss 2.0, was followed by absolutely unexpected positive feedback, I honestly couldn’t foresee so many people contacting me and thanking me for that layout, and that is only within something like 3 days…wow, I can’t wait to see what will be after 3 months… Oh, anyway, back to Earth!

This is my second WordPress theme, compatible with the latest version of WordPress, comes with pre-installed widgets. 3 Columns, fixed width optimized for 1024*768 resolution or higher.

NON-sponsored themes are offered for a download for a limited period of time. This theme is no longer available for a download.

Many people ask me in the forums, where do I get free fonts. In fact there are many places on the internet, however, these is always a catch; some fonts are not free, while others are just terribly ordinary.

The question arises, where will the webmaster go, when he needs Free Fonts? Today I got a request for making a sponsored post from Free Fonts and thought that I really must let my blog readers know about this site - it contains an absolutely fantastic collection of fonts. All the fonts are divided to categories for utmost visitors convenience and upon mouse rollover display the entire letters collection included in the font download, so it perfectly saves time browsing and loading additional pages.

The site contains a collection of over 8,000 free fonts and dingbats for PC and MAC. Very pleasant interface, clean and easy to navigate design, which is a great bonus comparably to vast majority of free downloads websites that shower the visitor with popups and advertisements. UrbanFonts.com however, brings you quality content, not cheap adverts.

I must say that the more I browse it, the more interesting features I find; The site also offers its visitors a blog, and a discussion board, which includes many interesting articles about fonts and typography in general. All this is brought to you on a very neat web.2.0 style interface that features the most popular searches on the front page. Another thing, which I never say any fonts site offering before, is that once you click on the font to download, you have a preview option, where you can select the font’s and the background’s colour, and see how which font will look in a particular combination. This saves time and hassle downloading if you want to try out how will your font look in a certain website’s colours scheme.
Top 100 fonts page will introduce you to the most popular fonts sorted by the number of downloads. I personally downloaded quite a few today, especially from the Free Dingbats page. Another service that this website offers is the Commercial font listings, where you can find all the paid fonts, suitable for commercial use. From what I have seen, prices vary depending on quality, originality and demand.

Bottom line, this website is highly recommended to Photoshop / Corel users and designers.

Yesterday I was messing around with the gloss effect, trying to make something stylish (”web 2.0″ style, whatever it is). Made this and thought I will let people download free, because… I don’t really like the result anyway and unlikely to use it anywhere. Yup, this is how generous I am. Enjoy!

This high resolution photo was made by me, in Tiberias. I used Minolta, old school camera, from the times when they were all manufactured in Japan… Anyway, this is a photo of Papaya Tree, made in autumn, hence the yellow leaves around it, but, it’s winter now and the tree is still green, so I come to think that this is an ever-green tree.
