I made this file tonight. No particular inspiration, just felt like playing with various shapes and layer styles and this is the result..  I think it looks rather nice, considering it’s not very complicated layerwise.

Another little extra for toptut.com readers, this nice and glossy PSD download. I had seen plenty of orbs circulating on the net, some are more or less identical, others are more unique, so coming up with something particularly interesting is really hard, so please don’t be disappointed too much. I saw a similar orb with also spacelike lines on someone’s website and wanted to make something similar, but of course mine ended up being much better, so enjoy! Click on the image to download.

So, it’s time to forget about PageRank and make a new PSD download. Here are 5 gradients I crafted today. These are not just gradients in .grd format, these are full styles, with light stroke, shading, inner glow and bevel to outline them a bit and of course, mild, typical to web 2.0 design schemes, gradients. 1. Light blueish lilac, 2. Soft magnolia pink, 3. Whitish metal, 4. Light leaf green and 5. Rainy blue sky. As a bonus, you also get the “free download” button included.

Just finished making these stylish and glossy buttons, which will add a lot of zest to any simple web design. The Download is offered in .PSD format, i.e. you can modify the files as you like, add your text, save the style settings, use in your design and do whatever!

It took me a while to understand what web 2.0 standard is about. Basically, it’s about badges, gradients, gloss, delicate shadows, rounded corners and juicy colors. Considering all of the above, I decided to release series of PSD files with web 2.0 downloads. Today in the menu – glossy badges with round corners, juicy colours, rounded font and light shadows. You can use them freely on your website’s design, but please, should you decide to redistribute them, keep the credits intact and link back to http://www.toptut.com from a blog post / site you are offering these files on. I decided to make 2 simple logos free for download, for toptut.com readers only. They are very plain, yet I hope will find they warm home some day. In my humble opinion they will suit best for travel agency sites, but it’s up to you.
