404 - Page not found. Dong!

How many times have you fell on a 404 error? Many times, right? Do you actually remember any of these times? Sure you don’t, it was just a page saying that your ino cant be found, offering to check something else. People with strong individuality, create custom error pages (if their server supports it) and then… the whole will remember their missing pages (which, yes, could have a down side too). Check out some of the pages I think are cool and creative.

Please not that this is NOT a free download. It’s the latest WorPress theme I have designed, probably will suit best for womans / diet blog, but could practically suit for anything. I still have no time to code it, maybe even will ask someone to do it for me or, alternatively, consider selling the PSD to save me time ad hassle. I am undecided yet, but hope I did not waste 2 hours working on it for nothing.

A while a ago, I remember someone asked me to make a shot of my desk, and I never got time to do it, or rather never had time to clean a spot that will be visible in the camera’s view. Today, for the first time in my life, I got a Tiger-Heliotrope Phalaenopsis Orchid… Couldn’t believe my eyes when it was presented to me! It has always been the most beautiful flower in my opinion and now that I have it, I decided to finally take a few shots of my desk.

When we take a small break for all the web development related issues, we often surf through online lifestyles magazines that introduce us to everything that happens us in showbiz and around us, while we spend our time by the computer. If you live in L.A., all you need is to have la2day.com bookmarked. This website will tell you about everything that happens in the town, what not to miss, what to see, where to dine, what movie to watch..

They provide a great review for every new film, and I am sure you are going to like their overview of Mighty Heart Movie. Moreover, the dining section of la2day.com will introduce you to all the best restaurants in town, with photos, overviews of the menu and even pricing. I have friends living in L.A., and I have heard quite a few times from them that living in such a huge megalopolis (especially if you are new there) is not easy, and choosing the right place to go to, even harder. This is why getting introduced online to all the news and info can change your life, and your lifestyle, making it better, more interesting, and help you to avoid wasting time on low level movies, restaurants and clubs..

For me, even though I don’t live in L.A., the site was truly appealing as I got to see some movies reviews I was interested in reading and music section, in my opinion, would interest anyone regardless his or her location on Earth.

PageRank update is at the door, webmasters are hysterical, checking their PR across all the data centers every 5 minutes, sweating, nervous, shaking… Come on, don’t worry, everyone’s PageRank will get updated eventually, the problem is, not everyone’s is gong to be changed…

The best example of PageRank fever is currently going on Digital Point Forums. A thread about the Q3 PR updated already contains 1500 replies (!!!) while even the back links update did not come to an end, yet. I won’t be a hypocrite and say I am not waiting for it too, needless to say that like any webmaster who’s life depends on his blog I am also sweating, nervous and shaking, but let’s not forget that there is life after PageRank update because after 3 months it will get updated again.

This blog is not predicted to raise a PageRank, which is a shame because I worked hard on it, however, there is still time and maybe Google will surprise me, just like it did last time when my PR collapsed from 5 to 4. Maybe it’s about time G will give me back what’s mine. Some of my sites are predicted to double their PageRank, which I doubt, but let’s see, I don’t worry too much about it… *wipes the sweat drops offer her forehead*.

I often realize how stretchy the word “design” is. You can module a site, you can design a dress, or you can module someone’s appearance online. This is probably one of the most popular trends on the Internet at the moment - the dress up dolls game. It’s a real craze. This theme was discussed in my design forum a few times so I decided to expand this subject on my blog.
