Yet another little success - we got featured on the welovewp.com showcase gallery! These are actually great news after 2 days ago when toptut.com seemed to had a bad day… I came online just to find out that all the pages were deleted, plug ins disabled and a few other minor yet annoying problems that continue still! Oh well, thanks “WeLoveWP”!
Finally, after having supplied over 7 thousand people with wordpress themes I looked at my own blog and thought that it cries out for a truly unique design. Not just yet another free theme with a different header, but something truly amazing. It took me a few hours to come up with the idea, and about 1 hour to doodle this idea in photoshop, then, after getting some positive feedback about it I decided to get it coded.
I could get the general idea coded but this layout, despite the misleading simple appearance, has its fair share of divisions and slices, so I needed someone professional to do it for me, and luckily Tom from WordpressMania made an absolutely fantastic job on it, it took only 2 days to get the whole psd converted to Wordpress, and it even came ready for gavatars, widgets and various plug-ins that I couldn’t get working with the layout before (wowie!). I’d have never made such a job myself, so endless ‘thank you’ goes once again to Tom for the incredible conversion.
So.. this layout might not be the fastest loading yet, but I will optimize it soon; also, since I sat half the day here modifying and adjusting various bits of the template I could have screwed something, so please report bugs. I can’t guarantee I will fix them, but at least I’d know about them! I hope you will enjoy the new look.
EDIT: Hmm, yeah, the pages links on top will be redone..

Yes, many of you come here to download my wordpress themes, but I am not the only one who makes them and as a designer I ceaselessly look for a new place where I can promote my designs. So, check should be on its way and tonight I sat to sort out my new shiny hosting account. Honestly I was very much impressed with LP hosting, first of all — it has cPanel!! Secondly, while I was setting up PSwish.com, I noticed that it loads very fast (faster than my test site on toptut.com), set up took practically minutes the account comes with loads of nice features. I must say I am more than impressed with the quality so far. Yay, I am off to keep working on pswish.com

It seems like you cannot make a spoof celebrity profile on a major social network anymore and get away with it. Especially not if you live in Morocco. I just read on Mashable that:
a 26 year-old guy, an IT engineer, has been arrested for making a fake Facebook profile for Prince Moulay Rachid, the younger brother of King Mohammed VI, according to FaceReviews.
Now, there’s one trend around the world that has been made blatantly obvious to me: most countries with monarchies don’t like when you poke fun at the royal family. While the fake profile was done in jest, the prank landed Mourtada in jail. He’s now facing up to 5 years in prison, and that’s no fun. It’s certainly not worth a fake Facebook profile.
The sad thing is how much one can be punished for making a stupid fake profilein a cyber world. The authorities considered such a joke to be classified as identity theft.
Don’t play games with the cyber world, else you’ll get all of Facebook shut down for your entire country.
