I am back from Czech Republic, already been home for a few days, uploaded my video and finally had some spare time to pull my photos from mobile into the computer so now I’m going to share them with the world. For more pictures from my collection please visit my Digital Free Photos stock.

I often come across these fun personality quizzes, which I must say are rather addicting. Have you ever been bored and asked yourself — Am I smart? How sexy am I? …and many other little questions that occupy the unconfident minds.
If you feel lonely and want someone to tell you something about the most interesting person on Earth, i.e. YOU, go to Quiz Rocket where you will find plenty these funny personality quizzes that will make you laugh and help you find your true personality. Moreover, you can also test I.Q in some of the specialized tests, but if the result turns to be too low, don’t hang your head in sorrow, you know you are better than that! What I like about this website is that they add a new quiz every day, so you will never run out of questions to ask yourself. Enjoy, as it can be a nice time-killer for the weekend.

These moments, while You are reading this post, I am already landing in Prague. Again this messed up airport where it takes ages to find the spot where you need to get a stamp in your passport, but I love these little hassles that makes life interestingly complicated. Considering my recent lifestyle, having more than 2 dishes for lunch is already a big adventure to remember, so a trip like this is like a flight to the moon (+ unearthly day schedule, as I am used to waking up at 2pm and going to sleep at 6 am).
I decided not to write much, better off I will be back home and cover all the events from there, with photos, head full of experiences and a bunch of traditionally stolen napkins from every restaurant I visit (no, it’s not kleptomania, I just collect them, and I only lift the free ones!).
So cheers and see you soon! (comments won’t be approved until I am back, unless they somehow get auto approved).
Oh, well done, John Cow. Today he placed an image (see below) saying the site was hacked and need to get 100$ within 24 hours. So let’s employ some common sense. No hacker would demand 100$ from someone who makes $3,000, a month off his blog, right? Even if were to ignore this fact, every thing could have MAYBE looked organic, if not the PayPal “pay now” button, that points to the same paypal ID as the donations link in his website.

So, the sneaky Cow wants a gallon of milk this time or is it yet another link bait? Guess we would know in 24 hours from now…

On Friday, when I was about 50km away from home, I received an sms from a close friend of mine, with a small summery of PR updates. After having a small rant at Google over the PR update their rolled out, or rather the penalties rollout, here is what I see:
My Domains that changed PR:
My Websites that changed PR:
The rest stated intact, therefore are not worth mentioning.
Just for fun
Text-link-ads.com lost it’s SERP, and you no longer can find this website for the keywords “text link ads” yet they are still PR7! In order to keep up with their previous position, they went to Google Adwords and advertise their website in sponsored search. This only proves my previous point about “why” Google does not want you to sell links.
The celebration is almost here so I though I’d share some useful and nice Halloween sources you might want to avail of.
1. Free Halloween eCards

2. Halloween Free Icons

Now toptut.com is “only” PageRank 3, I thought… is my blog still worth something? A little check shows that it does…
So, if you want to buy for this price, I WILL SELL! Just contact me. I accept all forms of payment except natural
Moreover, you will get a bonus with this excellent deal: my computer, 19″ flat Samsung monitor, speakers and other equipment, that only takes up place in my room as well as a (only) 5-years-old TV. Total value of about $3,000. Deal is limited to the first buyer only. So hurry. I can add more stuff from my crib for this price, feel free to make a wish list, if I don’t have it, I can probably arrange it, so try. The price, since it was set by an independent online auto checker that is not responsible for the sky-high values they estimate, is final.
Looking forward to close a deal, and bear in mind, price can raise!
This morning I opened some of my favorite blogs and looks like everyone, and I mean it — EVERYONE is talking about the merciless Google PageRank collapse, that hit most of the top bloggers and no one seen it coming… Here are some stats to start the morning with (although some of the below listed sites dropped their PR 1-2 weeks ago already)
autoblog.com PR6 –> PR4
engadget.com PR7 –> PR5
problogger.net PR6 –> PR4
copyblogger.com PR6 –> PR4
joystiq.com PR6 –> PR4
tuaw.com PR6 –> PR4
searchengineguide.com PR7 –> PR4
searchenginejournal.com PR7 –> PR4
johnchow.com PR6 –> PR4
quickonlinetips.com/ PR6 –> PR3
weblogtoolscollection.com/ PR6 –> PR4
andybeard.eu PR5 –> PR3
(Thanks Andy for the list)
You will be amazed to also discover that some of the Internet’s leading websites lost their credibility in Google’s eyes as well. Take for instance washingtonpost.com that went from PR7 to PR5 or the famous rich people’s magazine online Forbes.com that dropped as well from PR7 to PR5. Actually I can go on forever because the list of penalized domains, never mind how trusted they are, is huge.
Who giggles apart from Google?
Probably the rest of the world who’s PR was not affected, but… The amusing part is, now toptut.com is in the same PR league as johnchow.com, coppyblogger.com, weblogtollscollection.com, searchengineguide.com and problogger.net (!!), while it’s obvious that this blog is a few light years away from these big names. So what’s Google point here? To just penalize anyone who has achieved a decent or semi-decent PR? Or can’t simple mortals gain more than PR5 anymore while only the Gods at Mountain View can climb higher than that?
There is still no answer for these question as PR update was not finalized and apart from guesses, ideas, assumptions and fears, we don’t know anything.
If you feel like torturing yourself with this whole Google PR Update Tragedy a bit more, you can read also on Daniel’s, Kumiko’s, Darren’s CoppyBlogger’s blogs about the the devastating Q3-Q4 207 update. This update reminds me actually of war with Napoleon, when only after the war was over, it was possible to estimate the true losses… Hope this update won’t take as long as the war with Napoleon though!
P.S. - It does not matter if you sell PR links or not, you will probably lose your ranking anyway, because Google knows better if you sold links or not…
