Unlike MySpace or any other group social networks, facebook profile can’t really be customized and personalized. It’s just a standard layout where you can drag and drop the existing, identical in nature content boxes. So, want to have your FaceBook slightly pimped?

One of the options is deviantART Skin based on the official deviant art colours scheme, this skin changes the default FaceBook layout dramatically. For this, you’re going to need the Firefox plugin called “Stylish“. The idea is to give your Facebook a little more vivid look, less facebookish and more deviantartish. More details here, this also won the Daily Deviation, 2007-08-18 badge.
Mozilla Developers Center has announced last month that Firefox 3 Beta is now available for download.

Most of us are not aware of the fact that there are other email providers, but since we are talking to the majority here let’s assume your life concentrates around Google mail, so — yes, some new features are coming along from “Santa Gmailaus”.
First of all, you can chat to your friends from AOL messenger via Gmail (just like you can add MSN peeps to Yahoo!, and visa versa). Secondly, those awful signs Gmail labels are “smileys” are now replaced, or rather you can choose between them and rounded or square-shaped smileys, still a few light years away from what MSN has to offer, but Gmail is slowly getting there. In 2010 we might email get introduced to Gmail Winks.

Apart from that,

It’s since Google purchased Feedburner, yet only now we see some signs of unity, and this first step is allowing access to Adsense.
So, if you are a publisher that did qualify, you can now have the ability to hook in your AdSense account with your Feedburner account, — and this allows to syndicate AdSense modules into web-only content (similar to the FeedBurner site widgets), but not into RSS feeds themselves.
Those of us who run an average traffic blog, can only wonder how effective this new facility is going to be. Assuming you already have Adsense n your pages, it’s going to be useless, and assuming you don’t make much off your regular Adsense displayed on the pages, it’s going to be useless either because it yet again depends on the amount of readers and traffic. Most people struggle to monetize their feed, even people like John Chow, so how slim is the chance this is going to be a big success? This is the first look at the exciting new feature, let’s wait and see how it works for bloggers.

Everyone, myself included, is preaching for unique content. It’s good for Adsense, it’s good for SEO and it’s good for your readers. However, not everyone can produce unique content. Hmm, okay, correction: everyone can, but definitely not on a daily basis or 4+ times a week, and if you update your blog less than that, you are going to lose all your readers. So what can you do?
