Most people tend to believe that people who date online are “feelingless”. It’s hard to believe that someone can fall in love over the Internet and actually develop feelings, sympathy and even dependence.
Myself, I never believed in Internet Love until I found it. Yes, it does exist, and it may be even stronger than real life love because here we have this element of suspense, of been unable to touch or feel or smell. The longing, which all the people who “date online” develop only indicate on one thing - online daters are a romantic nation. Only element of romance can make someone in the first place to throw him/her self into a distant love adventure, where we do not even know who we love and what’s the possible outcome.
In conclusion, yes - geeks are mostly romantic.
